Ayişe Karadağ; PhD., MSN., Edn., RN., FAAN
Prof. Ayişe Karadağ is a professor at Koç University School of Nursing and served as the dean from 2017 to 2024. She specializes in wound, ostomy, and continence nursing and has completed advanced training and academic studies at prestigious institutions such as the Cleveland Clinic and Kent State University. Her research focuses on professional development, ethics, and evidence-based practices in WOC nursing, earning her numerous national and international awards. Prof. Karadağ continues to make significant contributions to the advancement of nursing education and the enhancement of specialized training programs worldwide. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to healthcare, health services, and WOC nursing, she was elected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) in 2024.
