Ljubiša Pađen, RN, PhD is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing at The University of Manchester, UK, and an Assistant Professor in Nursing at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has 15 years of experience in academia, clinical practice, and health policy. He holds a nursing degree from the University of Ljubljana, a master's from the University of Maribor, and a PhD from The University of Manchester, specialising in wound care research. He has contributed to health policy as a member of Slovenia’s National Expert Advisory Committee for Nursing and Midwifery and the Working Group for National Strategy in Wound, Stoma, and Incontinence Care. As a board member of the Slovenian Wound Management Association, he works to improve wound care services. He has presented at international conferences and published over 100 publications. His studies focus on surgical wound healing, wound care, and healthcare research. He also peer-reviews for leading journals and assesses research funding applications.
